Hey! My son lives in Bushwick, and he needs some work done on his truck. While I'm originally from NYC and my husband is from Brooklyn, we don't know a reliable auto repair shop in or near Bushwick. It's an older model. His choice to drive this old truck. He says that one cylinder isn't firing, and there are probably a few other things wrong.

Any recommendations? We are all the way in OH and we are currently not familiar with Brooklyn and Bushwick.

We are really disparate. Thank you.

How old is this truck? Engine work like that is going to cost you a fortune because nothing comes cheap in the city. It may cost more than the value of the truck.

We are originally New Yorkers. We know everything is expensive. He is obsessed with this Ford Tacoma. It's a 2006.

We have told him it's not worth putting money into a 20+ yr old truck.

He never asks for money and his birthday is this month. Apparently, these Toyota Tacomas have a kind of cult following. He went to college in Vermont and bought it there. He's driven it across country - which we think was a miracle. He wants to keep it.

We think he bought it for $4500. He just wants someone reliable to look at it. Someone who will be honest. He's not stupid, but he loves this truck, and this is what he wants for his birthday.

Lol. My son just bought a 2009 Tacoma a coupla weeks ago. He also needs some work done on it (new differential). It’s a nice truck, can’t go wrong if the job is done right, and the frame/body are OK. Good luck!
