Remember a few years ago when the PA couldn't even plow the runways for days after a snow storm. Good times.

Well, you know, there WAS a black guy in charge of the Aviation Department at the PA for a while, but he was promoted to COO last year.

https://www.panynj.gov/corporate/en/...-lawrence.html

Never mind that he's hugely qualified for the job. He's still BLACK ya know.

The part you don't read here is that the politicians we elect who appoint the board that gets to decide these things made Huntley sit in the seat and do the job as "Acting" Aviation Director for God knows how long while they made a big to-do of conducting an "outside search" to find someone to take the job. They do this periodically, wasting a couple hundred thou on an executive search firm and then end up promoting someone who is a career employee and willing to do the job for what they will pay. Yup, his salary is nice, but nobody in the private sector is going to give up their life for a 24/7 job overseeing five airports and running back and forth to Washington for less than half a million plus perks that the PA can't give.

So I guess they were stuck with "the black guy" who has thirty-five years experience from the ground up.

Pope of Greenwich Village wants that black guy to be replaced by a white guy. (you know the person that created, managed, etc the role/industry)

I love the racism debate back in topic on this forum…it has quieted down so much for so long since the 7th mod departed NYC CD that it started to feel boing to browse this CD……

Question to the accuser (Mr KK): if this extended power outage is not race related, what is the cause in your noble opinion??

Regardless, it is biggly unacceptable to see this happen to this hub in 2023… it affected me personally because my date was flying in and we had a lot planned for a romantic weekend, but now everything went up in the air…

The (SeventhFloor) mod who used to argue non-stop on race issues, despite he literally lost each every argument… he probably got so burnt out so he decided to hide…
