Class ( A over 30-40mph motorcycle license, registered and insured. Helmet required,highway and street)
Class (B 20-30 mph auto or motorcycle license, registered and insured. Helmet required. Can only ride in right hand lane or shoulder of road. )
Class (C license,registered ,insurance optional right hand lane or shoulder riding,helmet optional. )
Some electric scooters ( not over 20 mph ) are not subject to licensing but must be over 16 yrs old.
I would advise insurance...
A big No No to sidewalk riding for any 2 wheeled vehicle of any type.
You can hurt some one and then you'll need a number for a good lawyer.

Welcome to another aspect of the great woke revolution - third world cities! Ever been to Bangkok or Delhi? Tons of mopeds and other annoying (and I should mention - carbon polluting!!) "mobility" means.

If Trump or another serious Republican wins in 2024, I want him/her to go scorched earth on these sanctuary cities, New York City should be target #1. Declare an invasion emergency, outlaw sanctuary jurisdictions on day 1 in office, anyone who doesn't comply will have the national guard sent in. Get ICE in and start mass deportations of these invaders making our streets dangerous.
Will be hilarious watching the dims melt down over their precious illegal invader drug dealers, moped drivers and welfare opportunists.
