I saw a sign prominently displayed in various Whole Foods supermarkets. I am paraphrasing but they basically say that for the avoidance of doubt, emotional support animals are not service animals as recognized by the ADA. Therefore they will not be allowed in the store.
This is encouraging given how many people have been abusing the ESA designation to bring their pets everywhere with them. Many other people have allergies to fur and dander - both other customers and store staff. Not to mention the risk of getting bitten. Or an angry store employee being forced to mop up **** or poo on the aisle floors?
Why should strangers have to risk breaking out into hives or an asthma attack b/c some spoiled people think their chihuahas are equivalent to a seeing eye dog?
I notice a lot of dogs in Trader Joes as well. And I don't think they're even claiming they are emotional support dogs, just dogs and they think the rules don't apply to them
There are prominent signs up now in TJs saying something like we love dogs but...not allowed

I saw a man walking around w/a cat on his shoulder in Trader Joe's. He claimed it was an ESA as well. No, be honest - he was doing it for attention from strangers. I told him as much to his face and he got angry.
Too many entitled people with their pets. You read all these people consider dog mom or cat moms they can't go anywhere without their pets with them. They demand that people accept them on the plane or train with their pets.
A few months back I was at a shopping center. Area cordoned off because
some one ( not from my neighborhood ) decided to take a dump in the meat aisle.
Nobody wanted to clean it up ! It just sat there like that distinctive carvel swirl we have all come to enjoy.
As if Finding the Fudge is Fun ? Not any more!
Hahahahaha.................It's so crazy you gotta laugh......
What is it with some of these people ?
