He’s probably the most blatantly corrupt mayor in this city’s history because he knows he has immunity because he is 1) a Democrat in a city and state controlled by Democrats, 2) he is black at a time when being black has overwhelming privileges, 3) the populace has become weak and indifferent. And that stupid populace will vote him in for another term and hail him as a great mayor.

Well. They wanted less white folk.
Less rich folk and big money.

End result is very familiar. DETROIT.

Ever been to Detroit? I was there for a Robotics tournament in 2018/2019. It was worse than I could have ever imagined. MILES upon MILES of abandoned industrial buildings and warehouses. Thousands upon thousands of residential homes that have been left to the elements.

Don't forget about the massive green fields (a euphemism for the massive grounds where Detroit had to steamroll abandoned buildings). One "green field" was just south of our hotel, MotorCity Casino Hotel, and we were advised not to walk by said "green field" as it typically has packs of wild dogs inhabiting it.
