Hi, I'm visiting NYC, (hotel located in Times Square) and I'm looking for record shops to visit.

If you're a record collector in NYC help me out by suggesting some shops,

Thrift Stores,Salvation Army, yard sales.................best places on on the cheap.

Majority are over priced if looking for popular stuff ( Beatles, Boston etc.. ) I buy mostly on discogs. Not worth the $5+ subway fare to the record shops when shipping on discogs is the same price..

However, if I am already in the area I will go to Generations record in the Village. Human head record and Academy are also decent. Cheapest of these three is Human head..
