The city/towns and forested areas are right on top of each other.

Route 309 is amazing. Reminds me of Woodhaven Blvd on steroids.
Can take you from Philly all the way to Scranton (Electric City).
Various speeds up to 55 mph. Gets to every location without having to
jump on the (78) the highway.

Yup. I read the same data .NEPA ,SEPA, or just plain Eastern; In time, I'll get it.

The towns folks feel different when it comes to their homes. I guess it's how NY'ers
feel about Manhattan. I can tell Uptown from Downtown and East Side from Westside
yet ask other New Yorkers and they will have their own opinions of where one starts and the other ends.

Also folks here seem to look at home differently. It is not the same as refering to some map
designating border lines or zip codes or referring to a location as a county, town, village or city.

Even people speak is different.
Example: If I pass someone in the supermarket and say pardon me their response is " No worries "

Glad they like my Brooklyn Accent. They find it as amusing as I my new environment.

I heard Frenchtown is an artsy area to visit. I'll add New Hope to my list of curious places to visit.

new hope is great , and lambertville is like an old western town to me . they are across the little bridge from each other .

catch a show at the playhouse in new hope.

i did a great mountain biking trip all along the delaware in that area ..not a scratch on the whole trip . we must have covered 50 miles of trail.

came home , cleaned my bike and rode it down the community driveway after lubing the chain and got hit by a suv backing out , shattering my collar bone .

of course i told everyone it happened on the trail. ha ha

this is washington’s delaware crossing spot by new hope

I've been on 309/West End Blvd a few times in Quakertown. I prefer 476 to go from Lehigh Valley to Scranton. It's a toll highway, but the speed limit is 70mph almost the entire way.

New Hope is definitely worth visiting. Me and the Wife. usually park in Lambertsville, and take a short scenic walk across the bridge. Parking is a lot easier in Lambertsville.
