More great news for NY's "Finest." This NYPD thug was arrested for being a member of a deadly Gang in NYC....this officer used his badge to gain access to apts, committ over 100 robberies (that they know of), steal $4 million in cash and drugs, etc. Although I know this is nothing new in the NYPD and has been going on for years...the fact that it is STILL happening, and compounding all the other recent serious problems in the force compels me to STAY AWAY from the NYPD and anyone that is a member of it. You never know...it is very unfortunate indeed. Some good advice: NEVER LET ANYONE (including COPS) IN YOUR HOME THAT DOES NOT HAVE A WARRANT. EVER. You can always call the precinct to confirm. Sigh... Saw it on the news tonight.

Ok, Bloomberg, NOW can New Yorker's get some Reform? PLease? Geez. Nah, we need just a few MORE headlines

I agree, "Warrants should always be verified with the precinct", Not only because of corruption, but ALSO, because there are impersonators out there. Remember that guy who claimed to be a Fireman and assaulted the woman who lived there, awhile ago. I forget the details. But I also remember a few Cop Impersonation stories recently, one on Long Island I think.

When you tarnish the shield, you deserve no sympathy.

I've learned to just deal with the endless bad news this year. New Yorkers are tough.

Hmmm, isn't that what the movie "Pride and Glory" is about?
