It is if you consider media coverage to be completely objective--which is not the case. In New York, the Yankees and Giants dominate the sports pages. That's just how it is. I'm not a fan of either team, and I don't like the arrangement, but it takes outstanding seasons by the Mets/Jets going hand in hand with utter collapses by the Yankees/Giants to get either of those teams major headlines.
