I think, SuperKirby, that if immigrants from a certain area come here and begin to open shops that cater to people from that area and they continue speaking the language of their homeland while on "our" soil, you are going to see it as "taking over." Others may see it simply for what it is: immigrants coming to this country to live, work, enjoy and prosper.

What country did your ancestors come from? Or are you Native American?

France actually, but my friends and I live in a Chinese area so we always joke around about them taking over the world! lol.
If it does happen, we wont see it in our lifetime though.

What's your definition of "taking over?" Last time I checked those referenced areas were still predominantly white.

the last time i checked (back in 1800's) San Francisco and California was predominantly white. they takin over slowly.

the only thing missing from the Asians, are numbers! the more they come, the more they will take over! they are already the richest people in the US! ahh!
