Inquiring information about Eastchester Heights apartments. I believe the complex is located on Seymour Avenue(?).
If anyone has information about the buildings/neighborhood:
-Is it nice, clean, quiet, safe?
-Are the buildings/apartments well maintained?
-Is it professionally managed by responsible and courteous staff members?
-Is it near shopping, grocery stores, laundry facilities, parks, transportation?
-Is it a diverse neighborhood?
Any comments/opinions/facts given is greatly appreciated.
I don't live too far from them, they had a reputation, but has changed management, it has a heavy caribbean population, resturants, stores along Boston Rd, the best thing to do is take 2 trips there, one in the day to meet the staff, and view an apt, and go back on a friday or saturday evening and see if it's something that suits you, you have good and bad wherever you go, just mind your business and live your life, and all should work out, despite what most people say we bronxites are decent people, and many people will tell you very negative things, and have never visited the neighborhood they are talking about, It's your life and your choice, go check it out, the Bronx is no heaven, but it's not hell either..
I have lived here and watched it go down the drain. there is so much illegal activity, loitering etc. The apartments are quite nice however the type of people, not so much the grown ups are awful to say the least. Security tries but to no avail. Moving in you will need to know the history/status of the building you choose to live in as some are quiet and others are hell. This is no doubt a private project.
Hi I'm new to ny and have a steady job but also rental assistance is this accepted as well as a one shot deal?
