well layoffs were put on hold for 3 months because we gave something to the city we gave some health care money to them or something like that.....I'm not saying there not gonna reach you they prb will by the time the list ends im just saying what if they don't...
The layoffs that were put on hold have nothing to do with uniformed services, they are all civillian positions.
yeh I mean supervisor makes more but tons of them say they wish they never did it...as a sanman u do ur job n thats it if you get in trouble u get a slap on the wrist...
they give u a route or assignment in the morning and then thats it you work at ur pace......some people move up for the money and hate it and some people stay where they are cuz there is no pressure and no worries...

A thought that was on my mind we have over "30" months remaining until this list expires and there are a select few who still believe they won't hire off this list again..? One more question regardless of the amount of hirees this list ... Since the economic hardships would they extend the list..?

Reason: iPhone misspell =/
Im thinking they wouldn't extend the list strictly to have another test. Another test would bring in 30 bucks a head from over 30000 people.
That's only alittle under 1 million that's pennys compared to all expenses the test hiring adminn etc schools etc well see what happens November bloomberg hasent said anything laterly since his doom and gloom talks..
I spoke to a guy from the Bronx the other day and he said he knows a guy that said Harry had lunch with some people and that there is a very good possibility for layoffs in the spring. I know its a lot of he said, he said hearsay but it make you think about the way things are going. So all you guys ( especially junior ones) that are running up routes and dumping on shift, I would like to bid you all a farewell and good luck. You junior guys are going to be on unemployment and the ones that don't get laid off will be working even harder with less. I hope you junior guys have a back up plan for employment and everyone talking about getting hired soon, forget about it. Its not going to happen anytime soon.
He also said Harry said that layoffs in the spring is better than now because it gets the junior guys off probation and they wont have to come back in the new tier 5 when they get called back. Yes I said the new tier 5. Its coming for all new personnel.
