This woman has destroyed other apartments! I didn't know that until it was too late! It doesn't matter if I inherited it or not. My father had every right to leave me his house.
It took me three months to get her out. She wasn't the one who directly did the damage, maybe in on it. I found out it was her two sons and one of their cousins. I would never ever suggest anyone rent to them.
Unfortunately, she lost her oldest son. His girlfriend had him beaten, and then left to die. I feel for her because no parent should have to lose a child.
Actually, there is a "list" - it's called asking for references from previous landlords. A good tenant will have no problem getting one; a troublesome tenant will not.
I call BS! I have major issues in my current apt (I'm trying my best to leave it ASAP!) and have thoroughly documented the issues, including that when it rains or snow / ice melts, for over a year it has been leaking into my apartment, while going through the building, thus coming out yellow and brown and due to the long winter and that the heater is right below the heater, there is almost certainly mold.
WHY am I to blame for them not fixing the issue? Why am I a troublemaker because even though I paid on time the issue was never actually fixed (which would have required them to gut the wall and thus place me in a hotel while they fixed the problem) ?!?
I am having to evict a tenant in Brooklyn for owing me over 6 months worth of rent over 10k and I was wondering where i can black list him for further land lords. thanks

You cannot do anything without risking a lawsuit for defamation of character. Even if you state facts to someone who contacts you for a reference it still can land you in court.
If you sued the person in housing court then anyone who wants to know can go and look up the person's name.
