3rd Avenue stop on the L train. Basically one block from the stop at Union Square. Don't see why the train shouldn't go from Union to 1st Avenue.

On the Q train, the Beverly Road and Cortelyou Road stops are literally right next to each other, there's not even a one station distance gap between the two

138th Street-Grand Concourse on the 4/5 is a waste. I used that station yesterday (I normally get off at 135th on the 2/3 train but was early and decided to kill time by walking over the bridge) and there's literally nothing around it. At any given time there's maybe 10 people tops.

28th on the 7th ave line is good for FIT. The 6th ave line isn't that critical but the bigger picture is there's no reasons to close these stations. They all have express lines to bypass the locals so more service along the locals is only a good thing

Have you been on the Union Square platform during the afternoon rush? It's crowded enough already.

Not necessarily useless, it helps with the congestion on the 4/5 lines during peak hours.

There's alot of baseless opinions in this thread, some people listed stations that have relatively high ridership and it boggles my mind lol. Just because you don't need it doesn't warrant it as useless.

The logic is "I don't need it so it's useless"

Cortelyou was my stop for a couple years. Definitely no need for both, they're barely a train length apart.
The Cortelyou stop is on a busy street at least, the Beverly stop is dead in the middle of Victorian Flatbush....surprised it didn't make the least used list above.

I'm very surprised 3 of the Bronx stations on that list are in the South Bronx, I thought that whole area was very dense.
