I'm considering moving back to New York after having left five years ago. I left because I had been in NY for 14 years, all of my adult life, and I was looking for a change of scenery, and wanted cheaper rent. I acheived that, but am missing the city more and more. I visit once a year, and this year I plan to have an extended visit. Has anyone moved back, after leaving for a few years? Are you glad you did, or do you regret it?
I did. I moved away for a little over 2 years and just moved back. I am sooo happy to be back.
My guess is if you are on this board, you are really missing being here. For me I thought and talked about Ny all the time, that I finally said why am I not there.
