I've been living with my non-blood brother in Louisiana for five years now. I want to go back to New York and he's in love with the north. We are both sick and tired of Louisiana in every way so we decided; let's go!
There's a problem. Through some bad circumstances too personal to explain we were forced into buying land here last year. We got this "first time home owner tax cut" thingummer and it turns out that if we don't live here for three years we have to pay it back in full.
We also don't have anywhere to go while trying to sell this place, plus we still owe the bank for it.
What can we do to escape this civilian's prison so we can go north? We don't want to be here for even another year and this place is a money pit.
Is there any way we can get out of this so we can move soon?
