NYC Carriage Horse Autopsy: 'Severe Pain' at Time of Death.

Charlie in the article dropped dead on the street.

Many of the carriage horses need better veterinary care than they receive. There are so many things to do in NYC do not involve these poor horses. The carriage operators depend on tourists looking for something charming to do in order to keep their business viable.

As someone who lives close to NYC, please don't do the horse and carriage ride. I love animals and those animals are mostly treated poorly.

The Cake Boss has a shop in Times Square. Have a cannoli. They are the best I have ever had. We went down to Mulberry ST for comparison and the CB wins but the ones in Littly Italy are pretty amazing as well.

The view of the skyline after dark from the Staten Island ferry takes my breath away everytime I see it. Everytime.

Use the subway, its cheap and fast. Nothing scary about the trains, not in Manhattan at least. Nothing scary at all. Manhattan is huge, walking isn't really an option.

Buy a knock off bag for the old lady on Canal St. What the heck its fun.

Walk 34ST by day. 42 ST by night. Both are prolly safer then your living room.

On a clear day the top of the Empire State Building is more then words can ever say, MUST SEE!!!

The CB is in Times Square in the Discovery Channel CSI shop.

The Staten Island ferry is free.

The ESB is about 20 bucks ahead. Top Of The Rock is about the same.
