The article said nothing about how long they must remain on the job, to consider the goal met. But the article did state what I have been saying all along. Tesla originally promised 3000 jobs at the plant, and an additional 2000 support jobs throughout the state. What are the stats on those jobs?
So what I got out of this story, Tesla still needs to replace the 400 Panasonic employees by April 30. How many times was the date pushed back? Also there are only 300 of the 2000 high tech and high paying jobs throughout NYS. 1700 more needed.
I don't know about you, but just one more aspect of this project that is unbelievably generous--once they reach the job goal, they can start reducing workforce with no penalty. Unbelievable.
