How long did it take you to adjust to new area? How about one spouse loving it, the other just not getting into the same frame of mind as you? Can you eventually adjust? Thanks a lot

It can take awhile. We moved to Florida a while ago and my husband took to it right away. I didn't. Everyone said give it two years. After three, we moved to upstate NY. I never loved Fl and doubt I ever would. We moved to NY and within months of being here, I knew this was home. I became very involved with the community in the early months. My advice would be to give it time and get involved.
