I'm yet another Long Islander looking for a better quality of life for my family, and we're strongly considering Southern Dutchess Co. Schools are a top priority for us, and I've read a lot of recommendations for Arlington.

I'm wondering how Pawling schools fare in comparison. For the locals, my question is Arlington v. Pawling schools; which is better and why? (Husband commutes to Rye; kids are 4, 2 and "to-be-born" July '13)

Thanks for the help and honest advice

I've been in the housing industry for years. 90% of my clients request Arlington. There are about 100 homes for sale in Pawling schools right now, whereas there are about 500 in Arlington. It's just a much bigger school/area. Arlington is highly demanded. Hope this helps.
