Just wondering if it is worth it to take a ride up Metro-North to Southeast and check out Lake Tonetta which is nearby. From Google earth it appears there's a beach off Pumphouse road. Is it scenic, worth any pictures, which would be the only reason I would be visiting.
Also I see RR tracks or trail near there. Would be doing this probably in December.
