I was wondering, what are some villages around the state that you would consider to be urban? what I'm asking is in terms of its built environment. There are some I have in mind, but was wondering about some others. Most villages have a degree of walkability, but they can vary in terms of how they are built or look.
I think they all can be conisdered "urban" to varying degrees. When I think of urban I think of high density, visible population (i.e. it isn't a ghost town at night), and walkability. Villages like New Paltz, and Wappingers Falls give me that feel. Even the more developed villages in Westchester have this feel. I think that may be the point of incorportaing as a village, to have that dense, close-knit community.
