Is there anything specific that attracts Puerto Ricans to Rochester, Amsterdam, and Dunkirk? Other than the existing PR populations that have been there for decades?

Likely industries that recruited/attracted them there like area farm work and manufacturing.

Also cheap housing/cost of living. To many Puerto Ricans this makes Western NY a more ideal situation compared to super expensive NYC.
