Many of these dams are on NYS parks properties. Which is severely underfunded. I agree in a state that has some of the highest taxes in the nation there is certainly a lot of neglect in the natural beauty of our area.
Old dams in parks being one of them. Now you have what was once lakes turned into ponds because there is no money for repair. How does this happen?
