Broadband options in rural NY (Southern Tier) (Ithaca: live, area)

Hi all,

Can anyone speak to broadband access in rural finger lakes area, south of Ithaca? I know cell service an be pretty spotty, but good consistent broadband is a must as I’m looking to work remotely in the middle of the woods

Thanks CK. I'm hoping for something fiber optic; I'm also looking into starlink. I did hear that Southern Tier somewhat recently received funds to expand fiber optic lines, not sure if it's live though.
