Back on topic, I believe only citizens are guaranteed an education in NYS, and they aren't holding up their side of the bargain with legal citizens. I believe the only thing these ILLEGAL ALIENS are owed is deportation, or a cell. And also food, if they are hungry.

Okay, I'll throw a monkey wrench into the school argument. I will always support the local school system, gladly, despite having grown-up kids myself. Good schools are a factor in the resale value of your home. Also, families who want those good schools help create a vibrant community. There is a vitality associated with family-oriented towns and communities. Even when us old geezers become residents of the local Adult Community, the kids show up to do Trick-or-Treating, perform plays and concerts, Christmas caroling and other things to show we are not forgotten.
Yeah, it's become a lot more expensive to pay for schools. I'd say it's worth it, though.
I can't remember the last time I ate steak. My groceries are up at least 40%. That's just groceries. It's sad that this is all intentional, too.
Why don't you go to Trader Joe's and just take some steaks home. I heard many places don't even stop you from walking out with a cart full of stuff.
