Nurses and doctors both can be very intimidating. Would be nice to think that they have the patient's best interest at heart, but I don't believe that or trust doctors to that level any more. They're out to make a buck and cover their insurance premium for that month and if sticking my kid with a $55 vaccine will help them make bank that month, that's what they'll be focused on. Not whether it will permanently render some damaging effects devlopmentally or otherwise.
I agree to stick to the basic vaccines as we known and lived thru and revisit the schedule at which they need to be administered and revisit exactly what HAS to be in the vaccines. Let's get a handle on that before we start adding to the list for things that have not proven to be a threat.

You make some good points. There are many issues here--health effects, cost, state's right to mandate vaccines in name of "public health," parents' rights to do what they consider best for children.
