Here is a government representative information for the village of Tuckahoe in Westchester County:

Information about the mayor, who is the village’s first Black and Hispanic/Latina(remember that it is an ethnicity) mayor:
https://www.fox5ny.com/news/new-mayo...-makes-history In fact, I believe that she is the first Latina mayor in the state and only the third black female mayor in the state. Dunkirk’s current mayor is the first Hispanic mayor in the state, with Rochester and Mount Vernon having black female mayors currently.
Tuckahoe is about 9-10% black now, but in the past, the percentage was usually in the teens and even higher several decades ago. This NY Times article from 1986 illustrates this:
https://www.nytimes.com/1986/05/25/r...-tuckahoe.html
From the article: ''We also have a stable black population,'' Mr. Tobin said. ''It used to be 18 to 20 percent, but now it's 12 or 13 percent,'' he noted, tracing the decline to a major urban redevelopment project that displaced many downtown tenants. Some black residents can trace their history for four or five generations in Tuckahoe.â€
Schools are small, but are good as well:

It has been known for its good HS Football and occasionally Basketball teams on a state small school level in clouding state championships/championship game appearances/Final Fours. I believe the northern portion of the village is in the Eastchester SD.
The village does have at least a couple of churches that worship out of the African American tradition as well.
