Man, the business-friendly political climate in the South is really churning in the manufacturing jobs. They've built quite an auto industry and from scratch (jobs that were never here before)! True insourcing.
I would definitely put a US built Sentra in my garage UNLESS it was built at UAW plant.
I didn't even consider a Sentra last time I bought a new car because they were built in Mexico, although I loved my 1985 Japanese built Sentra. I would definitely consider buy a non union, Mississippi built Sentra, but Sentras built in Mexico or a UAW built model will keep me out of a Nissan showroom.
Let's hope Nissan employees don't make the big mistake of joining the UAW. Unions breed medicrity, greed, and corruption. The UAW is the worst offender of all unions.
Waiting for thread..."Is the 2013 Nissan Sentra an American car or not?"
