I wonder if there is a preference among men for curvy figures or athletic? I take good care of myself , go to the gym regularly and watch what I eat but do not have the figure that seems to be most attractive to most men. Small hips, no stomach average breasts (reduced) toned legs is more my body type like a runner or swimmer. Is the curvier figure more attractive or athletic?

This is such a matter of individual taste, jazzy. Surprisingly, men seem to prefer slim, like you. That's been the trend since sometime in the 70's, according to studies. But I've noticed that men also react to women who have a little more padding in the right places, even though they say they prefer slim women. We had a thread here not long ago, in which men said they figure "curvy" means "fat", which it doesn't usually, except maybe on dating sites. You sound great. Toned legs is good, it's all good.

I guess when I said curvy I meant Coke bottle shape ---big boobs, big booty thick thighs small waist. I , unfortunately , did not inherit these qualities although alot of the women in my family possess them. But i have noticed a trend toward that type ...I tend to get a little muscular but never THAT kind of curvy. But I guess it is all good

I know what you mean--the Marilyn Monroe look. She would be considered overweight these days. There aren't that many women around with the hourglass look. Athletic is much more common these days, in my observation. Or pear-shape.
