My sister had her daughter at 18. She was very much the mother, not the buddy!

Since your post didn't ask a question, I'll assume you're just looking for comments on a piece of TV fiction.

My mom was married at 17, had my brother at 18 and had me at 19. I've never thought of her as anything but my mother. In fact, if a woman my mothers age were to ask me out, I'd have to pay her dry cleaning bill because I would be sick immediately.
