I went to the farmers market today on my lunch break and as I was leaving, a young guy speeds past almost hitting my car, yells out his window: "Excuse me fatty!"
I was really taken back by this and I normally don't get my feelings hurt very easily. But this really bothered me, especially since all I was doing was sitting in my car, trying to go back to work. Now I'll be the first to admit I can stand to lose 25 pounds but to be called names by a random stranger just floored me.

Why are younger people so mean these days??
I had a similar experience a few months ago. I was dropping off some clothing to the goodwill store. A teenage girl resembling a crack head runs past me, almost knocking me over. I said "excuse you" and she walks up to me, gets in my face and calls me a "fat rich *****" (I'm a size 10)
I didn't get upset because it was just a total lack of class and education on her part. You could tell just by looking at her what kind of environment she lives in. Don't let low lives like that get to you.
It's a combination of that guy being a jerk and feeling like he has a pair because he yelled something at you while he was in a moving car. There are just some guys out there that feel like they are entitiled to give their unsolicited commentary on a woman's looks. It'd not about you, it's about them.

I don't even think it was about her looks. Even if he thought she was the hottest woman alive, he would have just called her differen nasty name. Well maybe he would have waited until after she rejected him, but still LOL.
People like that just look for any insult they can find. You cannot let them get under your skin because really, they will say anything because insulting people makes them feel superior to the world.
There are just rude and nasty people out there. When I ride my bicycle, without fail, there is always one immature idiot or moron who shouts an insult or yells as he passes. He was a jackass and you should not take it to heart as he is undoubtedly one of these courageous morons who shout insults as he is passing you at 60 miles a hour.
