Too bad for the baby, that's all I have to say. Starting life with a mother like that? Yikes

I will say it again :

And then remains countless happily married (for years) couples out there are remain infertile/childless!

Meanwhile, immature, irresponsible, blood suckers like your "friend" continue to easily get knocked up and multiply.

Life? Yeah, I don't "get " it.

P.S. You need to pick better friends!

Steer her to a local county office like WIC. And some adoption agency ideas. Then you know you helped her in a loving manner and let her go. I hope she does right by the baby. She is scared and there are trained people to help.

Gifts are with no strings attached. The recipient behaved poorly.

Glad you are moving on, sounds like Liz and you have a common bond based off someone elses misfortune.

Denise will bounce back and regroup her life choices. You gave her a valuable lesson in life.

Lets hope she grows from this.

Nov3, I was typing on my android phone, so my apologies not all of the typing came out perfectly. And yes, we are moving on. I have a very full schedule working in a special needs school and not a lot of time for drama, although I enjoy helping people--its what I do for a living.

Where do I go from here? I realize she may be overwhelmed with this baby and needs support, but I am feeling rather uninclined to help considering what I believe to be her outrageous behavior.
Just tell her that you feel that you cannot be responsible for her foolish behavior and will have to make it on her own..Then block all contact...
