Say no. You don't need an excuse or a reason or a clever comeback. Just say, "No, sorry." If she presses, you can be blunt: "I am always willing to help someone once or twice, but you seem to be in a permanent state of neediness. Part of our education is learning how to manage our time and resources. I am not one of your resources to be managed. Either learn how to manage this process, or find some other line of work. Patients aren't going to understand when you forget their files, their medications or their treatment plans."
