In many states, you cannot file a police report if someone "stalks" you as some state laws no longer recognize stalking (following someone around) as a crime. You can report someone for harassment if they contact you repeatedly, for no valid reason after you have asked them to stay away. But you have to prove you told them to go away, and the best way to do this is email records.

Delete and block their phone numbers, block them on all social media sites. Do not have any more contact with them.
Well, it's been a week, and the OP hasn't returned to the thread. I'm still wondering why she never reported the original stalker to the police. And now, basically, another person gave her a death threat. That's certainly grounds for getting the police involved.

It does seem scary. It sounds like a very twisted thing going on. I was involved in a weird situation 20 years ago, kind of a love triangle fiasco. I got out, but the other two people involved kept it going for years. Even after both of them married other people but still obsessed with each other. It was sad and it came back to haunt me recently. Someone I know told me this man has been talking about me again. He has a huge gun collection, a documented history of mental illness and a criminal record. I don't know why some people get into obsessive thoughts about someone else. Just sad they never moved on with their lives!
