Gently say something to your boss, or gently say something to you co-workers? I wouldn't say anything to the boss.
But yes, you can say something gently to your co-workers if they try to spread gossip to you.
I don't gossip, and you can pretty quickly and pleasantly shut that down. "God Janie dresses like a tramp can you believe what she's wearing?" "Janie? She sure is sweet though. She took extra time yesterday to show me how to work that impossible new sign in system".
It doesn't take many of those before no one tries to spread gossip to you.
