California has many Christian stations. Sorry to correct you. https://www.christianradio.com/stations/?state=CA

The more remote you get, the more churches you find even when the population is small and population density is low. And religious radio absolutely thrives in remote parts. Whenever I have to rent a car without satellite radio and find myself in the sticks and far away from a major population center, the radio is crammed with preachers telling me I am a heathen or going to burn or something along those lines. After like 20 minutes frantically searching for the devil's music station the damn signal fades and it goes back to "Jesus loves you, but he'll love you more if you send me money"
LOL that is too funny. And true,. The secular "Christian" music movement is a bit shady, no doubt. Likely best to avoid it

Thanks for spelling that out. Now that I know your objection is to the content of the music and not just the music itself, I have to ask how you've stood it this long. It must feel pretty darn abusive. My solution (for me) is still the same as I said earlier: ask for no music at all during drive time and if that doesn't work ask for control of the radio to be in 1/3rds. But if you wanted to take the matter to management I think they'd likely say no radio at all is allowed while the bus is being driven. Safety reasons. That way they can easily avoid the whole troublesome underlying issue.
