I put one up several times and only met one man. I put it on Friends, platonic. He met me for lunch and we ate and then he started pawing me and wanted to have a fling. I guess I am old, I told him, but my hooking up days are over. I still have yet to meet a man for just a friend. I am not sure why, but I will try it again.
I have a date with a man for coffee at Starbucks Saturday. He answered my CL ad. We seem to have the same interests. The important thing is to meet in a public place in the morning or afternoon.

At first it looked like a pretty shady site,what with all the spamming that goes on on there. However I've heard of quite a few people meeting from there.
Of course in my case I tried it and got a couple people asking questions,then my ad got flagged and removed
I have met nice peopel on Craigs. I've heard people make the same sort of comments about people selling items from there as well and I find NO validity to that. the people have been genuine and tend to sell everything for deep discounts than other sources. I've had very good luck and met great people but I dont have a bad belief about people either. perhaps you get what you expect.
