One of the biggest, if not the biggest, upsets in college football history. Way to represent our magnificent state!

It is on the cover of "Sports Illustrated". I felt that the polls showed a lot of disrespect to the Mountaineers by dropping Michigan off of the charts.

That was an awesome game and I totally agree they show disrespect to App. State by taking Michigan out of the top 25. Michigan is still a damn good team and deserves to be in the top 25.

I'm a fan of George Mason University, so I know what it felt like when we went on our run to the 2006 final four and most people were saying how bad the other teams played instead of saying how well we played. UCONN shot 50% in the elite 8 game and Mason still beat them, we straight up maned up to the #1 team in the country and beat them hands down.

Bottom line is that the gap has closed and top teams need to play at their absolute best or they're going to lose. Even when they play their best, they can and have lost to what people consider "lessor" teams.

Congrats App. State!

My son is a freshman at App. He says the whole town is going crazy. What a fun thing to have happen 3 weeks after you start college!

The funny part was the ABSOLUTE shock on the face of the UofM fans. It was an *OMG, I can't believe the gall of these people* moment. How dare they come beat us????

And it was SO funny to see...UofM take their football so seriously that the idea of ANY school, esp one not in the top 10 beating them is just ludicrous to them.

So to all Appalachian State Fans, students, staff, and alumni:

My wife is an '87 grad of ASU. We were thrilled!!! Would LOVE to see the game replayed on one of the ESPN channels. Even though they've won two straight I-AA championships in a row, too many take these teams for granted, you know? But Michigan will be back. They're really hungry now!
