i haven't been everywhere in nc to know, but the few times i stopped by there off of 95 to get gas/food i regretted it. there is also a section of 95 that smells like rotting flesh- hopefully just some rotten potatoes??
Haven't been there in a few years. It's hard to believe it's fallen that hard. It used to be one of the nice towns in Eastern NC. I might go check it out next time I'm in that part of the state.

my mistake, this actually isnt near rocky mount. its a few miles north around exit 173 on 95. anyone know what im talking about? not to hijack the thread but it reminded me
Why? Crime in those cities dont even come close to Rocky Mount.
I feel MUCH safer in fayetteville and especially in Durham than Rocky Mount. They dont even hold a candle.
Hell, Rocky Mount's mall is more dangerous than most places in those 2 cities combined.
