Fabric maker Global Textile Alliance will add 55 workers to its more than 130 employees at its Reidsville plant within three years. The company, which makes bedding and upholstery fabrics, will invest $7.4 million.

I doubt we will see textile like for shirts and such come back but this company is offering at its Reidsville plant offering something unique in regards to upholstery.

This plant offers cut-and-sew operation for mattress ticking and upholstery fabric.
Currently, furniture manufacturers either have in-house cut-and-sew operations or they import cut-and-sew covers from China or Mexico. GTA is the first fabric producer with a domestic cut-and-sew operation.
