Thank you
I wont like rurual living and when I say lower cost of living I mean lower then Thousand Oaks which is extreme with high cost of living. From what I have researched and the move is just temp for 6 months for now Cary in Raleigh area seems ok in terms of cost of living but still I am not sure. I know other then CA there is no perfect weather so I have to try to accept some bad.
I am going to make another post I think comparing suburb such as Huntersville in Charolette area to Cary etc. Thank you again
In terms of best year round, I have always thought the Wilmington climate was the best (in terms of the largest 10 cities).
Wilmington is the warmest in the winter of all of the other cities. In many cases there can be a 20 degree difference in the winter...it will be 65 in Wilmington and 45 (or lower) as a high in the rest of the state. There is typically a 5-8 degree difference EVERY DAY between Wilmington and Raleigh in the winter.
Outside of Asheville, Wilmington is also cooler in the summer than all of the other largest cities in NC. When its 99 in Raleigh, its typically 93 or so in Wilmington. That's still hot, but when you factor in the beach being 15 minutes away from anywhere in town, you can get to the upper 80's really easily. Wilmington does have more average rainfall in than any other large city in NC, but the weather can change fast, similar to Florida type weather, it can be sunny most of the day and just have a quick downpour.
