Some years I think this area needs tropical storm to relieve drought like conditions that occur over the summer but this year is not one of them.

I just moved back to Greensboro from Charleston. I gave away my hurricane kit, and left the new owners of my house some plywood. Bye y'all!

We had Dennis.....just a few weeks before Floyd. Hope we're not getting ready for a repeat of that. Crops are drowned, ditches are full....even the sandy soil where I live is getting saturated!

Any Hurricane Predictions? I think the next third tropical storm will hit the United States.

I was in south Mississippi when Katrina hit, not something I would want to live through again. With the possiblity of relocating to NC I haven't given much thought into Hurricanes. Guess i do now.

Last year in Raleigh had lots of hard rains when the system came through from the major storms
