Pick one that has offices closest to where you got your ticket. This way you will know that the attorney has a first name relationship with the judge and things will go smoother.

Speeding ticket+ attorney+ judge= $$$$$ for state and attorney.

Just curious on how this turned out. I recently got a speeding ticket going 90 in a 65. I have already paid for a lawyer and was wondering what you ended up with?

They never come back to tell you how their problem worked out.

The secret is you really don't need an attorney for this. The court is simply more interested in the fines and court costs they'll collect which you won't get away with paying at all even if you get a plea to reduced infraction. You can do what the attorney does which is just speak with the prosecutor to reduce the moving violation from a say 4 point ticket to a 1-2 point ticket and not get license suspended. If this is truly your first episode then prosecutor will most likely cut you some break. Prosecutor is not going to make money off you like a defense attorney.

The court still collects from you though so you can save yourself several hundred bucks on an attorney. Perhaps use that money to take a defensive drivers course to help lower the insurance penalty when they learn you got a moving violation and accrued points.

Right because those clowns know each other and just schmooze with each other. Nothing you can't do yourself. Attorneys should be used for more serious situations in court.
