Have to give props for Fayetteville's impressive downtown ballpark proposal. It seats less than 5,000 but it has a big league feel with the 6 story development that is a part of the stadium itself. Very different from anything built in NC.

Carroll at Bellemeade and Hyatt Place Hotel Greensboro photo update. Part of the apartment building has reached the 6th floor. The hotel and units will have great views overlooking the ballpark.

Something similar to City Creek Center in Salt Lake City would be amazing for Charlotte.

Metro Charlotte tops nation in new apartments added in first quarter

Metro Charlotte's apartment inventory posted growth of 5.9% in this year's first quarter, adding 9,347 new units to the market.
That marked the fastest inventory expansion among the nation's 100 largest metro areas, according to MPF Research, an apartment data tracking arm of RealPage Inc. (NASDAQ:RP). It's also well above the 1.8% national average.

We can thank the Banks for the new office towers, just as last time before the crash but even more so. Wells Fargo, US Bank and Ally Financial are needing space uptown too.

Regions Bank is the anchor tenant for 615 South College
Babson capital is the anchor for 300 South Tryon.
Bank of America for the former Observer site.

I'm gonna guess Wells Fargo will anchor a tower beside the convention center and US Bank will anchor Tryon Place and Ally Financial will probably take space in one of the new towers
