Greensboro Coliseum is the largest arena in the state and Bruce only sold a tad over half tickets.
Shown this morning someone who had upper section tickets and it was $105 so I can't imagine how much lower section was.

Greensboro has seating capacity of 23,500 and Bruce only sold 15,000 tickets, so I can't help to think it was more than HB2

One of biggest losers is the fans of Bruce who had tickets, hotel and dinner plans. Yes, the state will not get the 6-8% sales tax on those tickets but so will regular citizens who would have would have benefitted.

Or maybe he just actually wanted to champion an issue he felt strongly about like he's done for pretty much his entire career (born in the usa is an anti war song). No offense but this "theory" is just silly.

You obviously see no problem whatsoever with this bill and are trying to see conspiracy theories in reasons people are pulling out of this state. No conspiracy. The bill is discriminatory. I can't believe a gay person would say I'm okay with the state taking away and solidifying my second class title

Since this thread is about the concert, I'm sure everyone leaving or not show up since it canceled tonight.

Bruce concert in Ohio is still planned, yet that state has the same laws as North Carolina.
Maybe he used HB2 as a scapegoat since about 3/4 of stadium seats would have been empty
True some may wait to the last day but not 8,000

OH bill is liberal compared to HB2. He has values and stands up for them, just like all these other companies that are pulling out of NC. That's honerable, and shows he cared for his concert goers and staffs safety.

Leave that will show the GOP GOP strategy creates bills like HB2, Amendment 1 so that there are fewer democrats moving or staying in NC to vote. I knew quite a few gay friends moved after A1 so it must be working.

Don't worry, there are some of us that care about nc's progressive roots and the state as a whole and will work to have a dem in office come November

How does Ohio have the same laws? 30 cities have ordinances protecting LGBT from discrimination in things like employment and housing. North Carolina now has no such protections anywhere.
