There are potentially 800,000 people on the terror watch list and it violates the 5th amendment right to due process. Any gun laws tied to it would be in jeopardy if it is brought to court. Not a good plan.

Does not change the fact that two NC senators voted to keep arming people who are on the terrorist watch list, criminals and crazy people.

"From 2004 to 2015, some 2,477 people on the terror watch list attempted to buy a firearm or explosive through a licensed dealer, according to data from the Government Accountability Office. Of those, 2,265 were allowed to make the purchase, or roughly 91 percent. Only 212 were denied. That’s because “under federal law, there is no basis to automatically prohibit a person from possessing firearms or explosives because they appear on the terrorist watch list,” the GAO said."
...and they still no basis thanks to two NC senators.

You can't restrict people's rights if they haven't been convicted of a crime. It violates the 5th amendment.
I understand that you're scared, but you're more likely to get hit by lightning than attacked by a terrorist. We shouldn't give up fundamental freedoms for a false sense of security.

It's a watch list because they haven't been proven dangerous at all. They would be arrested if there were probable cause.
