We have a choice between the Raleigh area or Charlotte area. We would really like a home on a lake or very near one. Can anyone tell me of any neighborhoods that fit that bill? Also we would prefer a new home.

Huntersville and Cornelius are right on or near Lake Norman. Lake Norman has 520 miles of shoreline, lots of other places near by also...

I saw a subdivision called Mcantosh on the lake. I think It's between Raleigh and Greensboro. Pull up REMOVED and then go to NC and then look for that subdivision. It looks really nice. Prices not too bad either.

How far would the commute be from those two, anyone know? Offices would be in south west corner (i think) of Charlotte or the triangle area of Raleigh out near the airport. I will try to search for the one Raleigh neighborhood now.
