Did you call them? You may end up "aging" on the phone, but that might be your best bet. Just have all your paperwork in front of you, something to drink (take that any way you wish ), remember to get a name, and put a smile on your face. Good luck.

Well, I haven't called because its Saturday so I won't get far. I have to wait until Monday. They are actually very helpful and nice. I just was hoping to get some information about something like this because I will beat my brain up until Monday over it.

Don't do that - go out and enjoy the beautiful day! My daughter used to work for DSS, but she is AWOL, so no help there. Be sweet!

It depends on the ages of the children. If you were approved, all children under 6 years old get put onto the medicaid insurance. Once a child is over 6 they are on a different plan. That approval generally comes seperately. If you have children that were approved, then all of them are approved. Call on Monday and speak to the worker listed in your approval letter. You most likely will have to leave a message and wait for a return call. I would not worry too much. They will get the info fixed if there has been a mistake. Best of luck to you.

You are such a blessing for me today. I have been praying hard that this will be the case and I was thinking perhaps that I will recieve some new information very soon and maybe it just got separated in the mail. Whew!

It makes sense. My kids are 18months, 3, 4 and almost 16. So I am assuming the teen will be approved on a different plan.

Thanks so much, I will get this straightened out tomorrow. My caseworker has been very nice to me and does call me back pretty fast.

Thanks !

Linda
