1. Housing very affordable
2. Great weather - had enough snow and ice to last a lifetime
3. Good wages for what I do
4. Cost of living cheaper in many things - car insurance, utilities, etc.
5. Newer nicer feeling
Dislikes:
1. WCPSS one of the worst which is sad considering the way it could be - WCPSS a great disappointment especially in Holly Springs
2. Bigotry
3. Lack of initiative from leaders
4. Lack of good medical care
5. Crowded highways

In a word, no, but then, this is rather like asking chocoholics if chocolate is overrated. A vanilla-lover might think so, definitely.
There is much to draw a person to NC, but only you can be the best judge of how much you'd like living here. Come spend a vacation here, if you like to r-e-l-a-x -- try the beaches or the mountains, and then let us know what you think.

Wake County Public School System. It's the school system for Raleigh, Cary, and some other communities within the Triangle, although it is far from being the only public school system serving the Triangle area.
